Join WV FREE’s SHARE team and The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company for a Linking Families and Teens (LiFT) workshop!

LiFT is a 6-hour (with breaks) family communication and connection workshop for teens (13-19) and their supportive adult(s). We’ll discuss tools families can use to strengthen their communication, support connection, and have tough conversations.

The specific goals of this program are:
• Increase the frequency and quality of communication about sexuality between teens and their
supportive adults.
• Enhance the relationship between teens and their supportive adults.
• Increase teen confidence to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
• Increase supportive adults’ comfort with their youth receiving sexual health services.
• Decrease unplanned teen pregnancy.

This workshop is designed for a teen and a supportive adult to attend together. We are unable to accommodate youth or parents registering by themselves.

The Roving Peregrine Theatre Company has partnered with WV FREE to bring the LiFT workshop to you! Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the workshop. Snacks and a meal will be provided during the workshop, and each participant (adults & teens) will receive a $50 gift card to Walmart, Amazon or Kroger — Adults will receive an additional $50 gift card to offset the cost of childcare and transportation.
